The Regal Cinema opened on 4th January 1936 with Jessie Matthews in “Friday the Thirteenth”. It had a 32 feet wide proscenium. For the first 25 years or so, it was operated by an independent company Enniskillen Cinemas Ltd.
By 1963 it had been taken over by Odeon (Northern Ireland) Ltd. as part of the Rank Organisation. Still listed as operating in 1965, it had closed by 1980.
